Gary Neville fires Aston Villa warning to Arsenal amid 'sneaky' Manchester United hunch

Manchester United legend Gary Neville says Arsenal must get back to winning ways against Aston Villa on Saturday after suffering defeat to Premier League title chasers Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta's side impressed for large parts of the tie against Liverpool on Wednesday night, but two second half goals took the game away from the Gunners. They will now look to cement their top four position against Villa this weekend, as Steven Gerrard's men look to get back in form themselves.

Villa come into the game having won three of their last four Premier League games, but did lose last time out against European hopefuls West Ham at the London Stadium. They will host Arsenal in hope of winning a third consecutive game against the North Londoners on home soil, a feat they haven't managed since winning four in a row since 1975-1979.

And Sky Sports pundit Neville has warned Arsenal that they need to be winning games like Villa away. He said on the Gary Neville podcast: "I still have that sneaky feeling that Manchester United still have so much more to call upon in terms of players.

"Manchester United have an unbelievable squad of players, they are not playing anywhere near like a team at this moment of time. They could go and win seven or eight of their last games, they've got that in them. I think we have a real top four race, but I think Arsenal can be really proud with how they played tonight, the most important thing is that they respond at Villa.
