Antonio Conte makes Man Utd admission and fires Aston Villa warning to Tottenham players

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has warned his players not to get ahead of themselves after moving into the Premier League top four with an "important" clash against Aston Villa to come this weekend.

Spurs have won their last three league games and are currently occupying the final Champions League position in the Premier League. They pushed Arsenal out of the top four on Sunday night after beating Newcastle 5-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Arsenal have an opportunity bounce back when they play Crystal Palace tonight, but it is all set up to be an enthralling race for Champions League football this season. Though Villa will be looking to cause an upset and get back to winning ways themselves on Satuday when they entertain Conte's men at Villa Park.

And Conte said of Tottenham's current form after beating Newcastle: "I have seen my team that now is in the race because I have seen great improvement. In this race there are other teams that maybe are in this moment they have an advantage and I think Arsenal has to play two games.

"Don’t forget (Manchester) United, an amazing squad. West Ham, Wolverhampton are having a fantastic season and this league is very, very difficult but I’m happy because hard work is paying off.

"Now we have to be happy, also tomorrow, but then from Tuesday when we start to work we think about an important game against Aston Villa. It won’t be easy to go there and take a good result but we have eight games, eight finals for us, and every games it will be very important to get points and continue to dream to finish in the Champions League this season."
