Gary Lineker delivers Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte undercard verdict and everyone agrees

Gary Lineker is one of thousands who have slammed the undercard for Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte as 'underwhelming'. Fights throughout the night in the build-up to the main event were criticised by the thousands of fans watching on.

It's one of the biggest nights in British boxing history - with 94,000 at Wembley Stadium in what is a record attendance for a boxing event at the famous London stadium. With the purse being won by Frank Warren for a whopping £32 million, many will have expected a night filled with exciting fights before Fury steps into the ring against Whyte - but the overriding feeling from everyone watching has been one of disappointment.

Lineker lead a tirade of tweets outlining the perceived lack of quality on offer on the undercard. Here is a look at some of the reaction:

Tommy Fury fought well in his win over Daniel Bocianski, but was unable to get the knockout as he fought the bigger and awkward opponent who used his length to make it difficult for the younger Fury brother.

Speaking after his victory, Tommy said: "I felt very good. It was my first fight in a year, he's a very tough guy and I almost got a stoppage numerous times.

"But I just have one thing to say, Jake Paul - this should have been done a long time ago in December and if you want it I'm here and I'm ready for you.

"I'll cut you and chop you to bits just like I did there, get the contract signed you bum, let's get it done once and for all.

"That lad in there would have killed Jake Paul, that lad is a true professional. He was cut to bits, still in there giving me everything that he had, he'd slap Jake Paul and it'd be over.
