Galway-Armagh set for Leitrim as neutral venues decided

The neutral venues have been announced for Round 3 of the All-Ireland SFC group stage, with reigning champions Kerry set to face Louth in Portlaoise, and Galway-Armagh fixed for Carrick-on-Shannon.

Needing to avoid defeat to assure themselves of progression, Jack O'Connor's side will make the trek to O'Moore Park to face a Louth team coming off the back of two narrow losses against Cork and Mayo.

Kingspan Breffni Park will host a double header, with Dublin taking on Sligo in Group 3 at 1.45pm, while Tyrone meet Westmeath at 4pm.

The Cavan venue had been suggested as a possible venue for the Galway-Armagh match-up, a repeat of last year's titanic All-Ireland quarter-final, but that has been pencilled in for Páirc Sean MacDiarmada.

As expected, Mayo will return to the TUS Gaelic Grounds, scene of triumph and despair in the past, to face Cork. The Group 3 clash of Kildare and Roscommon has been fixed for Tullamore.

In Group 4, the all-Ulster clash between Donegal and Monaghan will take place in Omagh, while Derry's game against the already eliminated Clare is set for Pearse Park in Longford.

The final matches in the respective groups will be played simultaneously with all eight matches fixed for Saturday 17 June.
