Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba both joined Arsenal in the summer of 2019, but it's safe to say their journeys since have been the polar opposite. Although, they are on course to be reunited for the 2022/23 season.

Whilst the Brazilian was immediately integrated into the first-team picture following his move from Ituano, Saliba headed back to Saint-Etienne on loan to continue his development during the 2019/2020 campaign and has enjoyed two further loan spells back in France ever since.
