Mikel Arteta Admits 'Concern' Over Kieran Tierney & Thomas Partey Injuries
Although I appreciate leaving out Nuno Tavares would not do his confidence any good, it already seems very low and his recent performances have led to him being subbed off at half time on two separate occasions. Arsenal must view each game as a cup final and with Champions League qualification at stake, I just don't know if starting Tavares is currently worth it.
With Cedric showing much better form, I would prefer him to start at left-back as he has done previously while pushing Ben White out to right-back, who again has played there before and done well. Holding can come in and comfortably take up White's centre-back role. I expect Thomas Partey to be replaced by Albert Sambi Lokonga, who did well in midfield after coming on against Palace.
Gabriel Martinelli represents just one change I would like to see going forward, with Alexandre Lacazette making way. The Brazilian was on fire before illness ruled him out prior to the International break, but after having a chance to rest and recover, I think he's ready to be reintroduced.
