GAA team news: Stephen Cluxton back as No 1; Déise start Austin Gleeson

Stephen Cluxton will once again start in goal for Dublin in their Leinster final clash with Louth on Sunday.

The Parnells stopper was a late change to the starting 15 for last month's semi-final win over Kildare. The Dubs made three pre-throw-in changes for that two-point win over the Lilywhites; as well as Cluxton, wearing number 16, taking David O’Hanlon’s spot in goal; John Small came in for Jack McCaffrey and Tom Lahiff started in place of Sean MacMahon.

All three are named to start this time around with Small pencilled in at centre-back and Lahiff to his left on the No 7 jersey. McCaffrey, Dean Rock, Niall Scully and Brian Howard are all notable names on the subs list who could make a big impact on the day - whether that is off the bench or from the start remains to be seen.

Mickey Harte’s Louth go in search of a first Leinster title since 1957 – when they beat Dublin in the provincial final on their way to All-Ireland triumph over Cork – with their imposing middle diamond of Niall Sharkey at No 6, a settled midfield of Tommy Durnin and Conor Early with captain Sam Mulroy ahead of them at centre-forward.

Throw-in a Croke Park on Sunday is at 4.0pm.

In the Ulster final, holders Derry will look to their own midfield axis of Conor Glass and Brendan Rogers to help them hold off a recovering Armagh side who are badly in need of a provincial title, having not conquered ulster since 2008.

The Oak Leaf side have gone with an inside-forward line of Niall Toner, Shane McGuigan and Niall Loughlin to point them over the line.

Orchard County boss Kieran McGeeney will look to Rían O’Neill and Conor Turbitt to keep the scoreboard busy while Ciaran Mackin, Greg McCabe and Jarlath Óg Burns make up the half-back line.
