GAA preview: Provincial football finals the focus this weekend

Silverware is up for grabs this weekend in the football championship, as the provincial finals take place on Sunday.

In Munster, Kerry are aiming for their sixth consecutive Munster title when they face rivals Cork in the final.

Kerry will go in as favourites, but Cork will take confidence from their previous meetings, as they aim to create a shock before the All-Ireland championship.

In Connacht, Galway will have a chance to win their fifth Connacht title in a row when they face Roscommon.

After a convincing win over Mayo, Roscommon will go into Sunday's game with confidence, while Galway will welcome back Shane Walsh into the starting line-up.

The Tailteann Cup also gets underway this weekend, with Clare facing Offaly, and Sligo hosting Tipperary among the pick of the games.

In hurling, the loser of Dublin v Wexford will face an uphill task when they meet on Saturday.
