Funboys cast in full including comedy star 'blown away' by show
The cast of new BBC comedy features rising stars and an award-winning comedy actor who praised the show's pilot.
Funboys sees friends Callum (Ryan Dylan), Jordan (Rian Lennon) and Lorcan (Lee R James) attempt to navigate through the hardships of life in a small town in Northern Ireland.
From first girlfriends to dead pet pigs, the lads struggle with the highs and lows of life. But will their shared love of innocent fun and wholesome ‘mucking about’ land them in hot water?
Filmed and set in Northern Ireland, the show adopts a "fly-on-the-wall approach, prioritising authentic, naturalistic comedy" while delving into contemporary themes such as male vulnerability, religious dogma and more.
The four-part series will be available as a boxset on Monday, February 10 on BBC iPlayer ahead of transmission on TV later in the week.

Rian Lennon as Jordan
The young actor plays Jordan in the series. Rian Lennon is a writer and director from Belfast who has written and directed projects for BBC Comedy, Channel 4's Random Acts, and BBC NI Radio.
Ryan Dylan as Callum
Callum is one of the friends who are the focus of the series. His most recent credits include lead roles in Poli Production’s darky comic thriller feature Housejackers and The Glenarma Tapes.
