Full list of recent property sales in Whalley Range and Old Trafford with prices starting at £200k
There were five properties sold in the Firswood, Old Trafford, and Whalley Range areas of Manchester during June, according to the official record released by the Land Registry. The properties ranged from a £200,000 flat on Manchester Road, to a home on Montcliffe Crescent which fetched £292,000.
House prices have fallen in the last year across the M16 postcode area, which covers Firswood, Old Trafford and Whalley Range. The latest average price for a property in the district is £264,364, according to the latest available data. This is nearly 5 per cent lower than 12 months ago, when the average sale price was £277,320.
That means that the average home in the M16 postcode district has lost nearly £13,000 in value in the last 12 months.
However, there were still 247 house sales over the course of the last year, making it one of the more vibrant property markets in Manchester.
