Football fans across the country will have the opportunity to follow games of the Nigerian National League (NNL) live through the Federal Radio Corporation (FRCN), NNL chairman, George Aluo, has said.
Aluo said the live broadcast is part of efforts to create enough awareness for the country’s second tier league, adding that the live broadcast will bring a different wave of interest to the competition, which will run from June 7 to 14, 2024 in Enugu.
The Super Eight is organised yearly at the end of the league to determine the overall champion of the second tier League, as well as teams that will gain promotion to the elite league.
The eight qualified teams for the championship are Nasarawa United, Sporting Supreme of Abuja, Sokoto United and El-Kanemi Warriors. Others are Beyond Limit FC, Madiba FC, Inter Lagos and Ikorodu United.
