Francis Ngannou responds to Tyson Fury's fight plan with Mike Tyson quote

Tyson Fury has predicted that he will defeat Francis Ngannou in less than six rounds this weekend.

The world heavyweight champion shared his strategy during his TNT Sport Face Off with Ngannou, saying: "I'm going to knock him out inside six rounds," adding: "On the front foot, not running away.

"On the front foot, hand-eye, let him hit the shoulder, slip, slip, bang, slip, slip, bang. Down in a heap. Listen, no one can take my power. Nobody. These heavyweights don't have a chance... I'm like Neo on The Matrix. You better believe it."

Fury shared his fight plan, continuing: "I'm going to come out, nice, stiff, snappy jab, bang, doubling up, bang, bang, bang, slip, slip, slip, body shot, upper cut, jab, jab, feint, bang right hand, game over."

UFC star Ngannou responded to Fury's rant with a quote from Mike Tyson: "Wow. That sounds like the script for a movie. As you said earlier, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face."

Ngannou also questioned how Fury could fight again in December after their bout on Saturday, as he plans to hand him a medical suspension. He expressed this concern in a tweet after the announcement of Fury's undisputed heavyweight content against Oleksandr Usyk.

The fight between Fury and Ngannou is expected to earn both men more than £10million. Fury is set to make over £100million from this fight and his upcoming clash with Usyk. Ngannou is considered to be a ferocious puncher but the former MMA champion has no boxing background to speak of.
