Four reasons Osimhen should choose Arsenal over Chelsea

Despite playing a key role in Napoli winning their first Serie A title in 33 years, it seems more and more likely that the Italian giants will have to cash in on their Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window.

Although Osimhen has enjoyed a good start to the new season, with six goals and one assist in his first 10 games, the player’s relationship with the club’s hierarchy has deteriorated to the point that both parties now seem intent on going their separate ways.

Osimhen has been heavily linked with moves to some of Europe’s top clubs and one of them is Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal.

While Chelsea appears to be ahead in the pursuit of Osimhen’s signature, according to reports, here are four reasons why Arsenal will be a better choice for Osimhen.

Arsenal is a more settled team
Joining Arsenal should not be a problem for Osimhen as he would be a part of a side that is already settled.

The majority of the players who almost won the Premier League for Arsenal last season are still in the team.

To mount a serious challenge to the title in this campaign, Mikel Arteta brought in Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Kai Havertz.

Before his injury in the first game of the season against Nottingham Forest, Timber had already shown that he was already at home in the team.

Big money signing, Rice, has fit in very nicely that the influential Thomas Partey, who is currently out injured, is hardly missed.
