Four people found dead in car after collision in Gloucestershire

Four people have died following a collision in Gloucestershire in the early hours of this morning. Police described the victims as “four males” and they were found dead inside the car which had left a road and collided with a tree.

It happened on the A436 in Ullenwood, near Cheltenham. The fatal collision involved one vehicle, a black Renault Clio with police patrol coming across the incident shortly before 2am, Sky News reports.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: "The vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree, and four males who were inside the vehicle were deceased. The vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree, and four males who were inside the vehicle were deceased."

Anyone with information about the collision is urged to contact the police. The road is still closed in both directions between the A417 Air Balloon roundabout and Severn Springs while an investigation is underway.

Many people in the area will be travelling to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairfield for its final day today (Sunday, July 21).
