Former Aston Villa coach John Terry issues four-word verdict on Liverpool star
Former Aston Villa assistant head coach John Terry appears to be a huge fan of new Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
The Colombian impressed again as Liverpool edged to a 1-0 win over West Ham United to keep up the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday.
Diaz has made an instant impact since joining the Reds from Porto in a £49million move at the end of January.
He has given Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp another option in attack, alongside the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino, providing a real threat down the left.
Diaz started against West Ham alongside Salah and Mane and produced several moments, including one solo run which had Liverpool fans raving.
Terry was also impressed with the 25-year-old, tweeting ‘Diaz is a player’ with a ball and clapping emoji.
Diaz and Liverpool will come up against Steven Gerrard’s side when they visit Villa Park on April 16.
It could be a key game for the Reds as they challenge for the Premier League title.
