Forgotten Celtic man set to end loan exile as Hoops 'name their price' to sell him - Parkhead news bulletin

Sead Haksabanovic is reportedly set to return to Celtic with Stoke City deciding not to keep him - and the Hoops are said to have named their price to sell him in the summer.

The Montenegro winger was once an exciting signing from Rubin Kazan but struggled to cut the mustard under Ange Postecoglou and was shipped out to Stoke by Brendan Rodgers in the summer. He started fairly well down south with a goal against Bristol City early in the spell but he hasn't scored since that strike in September and has been in and out of the team. Injuries haven't helped his case but it's now being claimed Stoke have made up their mind.

Reports in Sweden, where there is a vested interest in Haksabanovic after his time with Halmstads and Norrkoping, say they have decided not to sign him permanently and that he will return to Celtic in the summer. But the former West Ham United man isn't expected to have much of a future at Parkhead.

Fotboll Direkt say Celtic have already decided on a fee of 30million Swedish Krona - around £2.2m - to sell him. And with three years still to run on the five-year contract he signed in 2022, finding a new club for him is likely to be high on the list of summer priorities.

Another man who might be looking for a new club this summer is frozen out Gustaf Lagerbielke who says he has been unable to have "close contact" with Brendan Rodgers since his move to Parkhead. Amid a lack of minutes for the Scottish Premiership leaders, he revealed that he has turned to building LEGO to fill his time.

He would have hoped for more minutes since the collapse of his move to Lazio in the summer, on which the plug was pulled to cover for Cameron Carter-Vickers' injury, but he has managed just one appearance since the winter
