Football Manager 2023: When is the beta released?

Football Manager 2023 is likely to release later this year, although it has yet to be formally announced.

The game has consistently followed an annual release schedule, ever since there was a split from Championship Manager.

FM22 was a remarkably popular release and a new mainline entry is expected before the end of the year.

But when will the beta come out?

FM usually releases a glimpse into the game around a fortnight before the game is fully released. That allows you to dive into the world and begin your save; your progress will carry over into the fully-fledged game.

Of course, the beta is also an important testing time for Sports Interactive, as players will be able to report bugs and issues whenever they arise. There is always a ‘report bug’ button in the game during the beta window but it is removed for the full game.

FM22 released on November 8, 2021, while FM21 and FM20 came out on November 24, 2020 and November 18, 2019 respectively.

We can expect the release date to follow a similar schedule, so we’re expecting the game to come out in November yet again.

The beta usually comes two weeks before and never has a confirmed release date from Sports Interactive.

But it should be available to download either in late October or in early November, depending on when the release date lands.

The beta is not likely to release on Xbox, however, despite the game launching as an Xbox edition last year. It also remains to be seen if the game will be released on Game Pass, as FM 22 was.

The beta has forever been a PC exclusive and that will likely continue in 2022.
