Football Manager 2023: Five transfers that will change the game
Football Manager 2023 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, particularly on PC.
Sports Interactive have followed an annual release schedule since the release of Football Manager 2005 so fans can feel confident that there will be another game coming this year.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of buying the new game is seeing all of the latest transfers being implemented at every team across the world.
But which transfers have caught the eye the most and will change the landscape of FM23, as compared to FM22?
Be warned: A number of your favourite wonderkids have already been snapped up!
We’ve looked at five of the most intriguing transfers ahead of FM23.
Darwin Nunez to Liverpool
This one stings.
The Portugal international has been a brilliant wonderkid in recent years on Football Manager but was snapped up by Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
It means he will be playing Premier League football, and he’ll be next to impossible to sign as well.
Unless you’re a Reds fan, this one is going to hurt.
Karim Adeyemi to Borussia Dortmund
The Erling Haaland replacement. We would have put Haaland on this list after his move to Manchester City but it’s a bit obvious!
Adeyemi was hidden away at RB Salzburg but often develops into an absolute demon in the game, and you used to be able to sign him for a relatively reasonable fee.
Now, though, he’s moved to the German giants and will be off the market for at least a couple of summers.
You’ll have to look elsewhere for a striker.
Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid
Still just 22, the Frenchman has moved to the Spanish giants from AS Monaco.
He was an excellent midfield option for top clubs in FM22 but he’s now safely in the hands of the Liga heavyweights.
