Football Manager 2023: Five best ways to use the editor

Football Manager 2023 is set to release later this year.

It remains one of the most highly-anticipated games that has yet to be announced, but it seems almost certain that the game will release later this year.

Football Manager has followed an annual release schedule since 2005, when the game split off from Championship Manager.

As a result, we feel very confident in predicting that Football Manager 2023 will hit shelves later this year.

As a result, we’ve broken down five of the best ways to use the game’s editor.

There are two types of editor for Football Manager: the in-game editor, which allows you to change things when you’re playing, and the pre-game editor, where you’ll need to make changes before opening the game up.

The latter is free, while the former is not, although it usually costs under £5.

Here are five of the best ways to use the editor!

Permanent job security – This is a good one. You can make yourself unsackable by giving yourself a contract for over 100 years. To absolutely confirm it, you can even line up a move for yourself to another club in 100 years, meaning you can’t be sacked. Cheating? A bit, yeah.

Fiddle with the budget – You can use both editors to do this, although the in-game editor is probably easier. If you want to give Fulham a £1bn budget, go right ahead. Want to give Gillingham £500m? Do it. Cheating? Absolutely, yes.

Get a transfer done for nothing – You’re managing Manchester United. You need a striker. You want to buy Erling Haaland but he plays for Manchester City. Click on Haaland’s profile, and move him to your club on a lengthy contract. This one is definitely cheating but it works.

Create the perfect player – Both editors allow you to make edits to the attributes of a player.
