Footage Emerges Of James Milner's Cheeky Reaction Towards Jorginho After Winning Penalty Shootout Coin Toss

Chelsea and Liverpool subsequently played through a 0-0 scoreline in extra-time to send the final to an exhilarating penalty shootout.

Footage has now emerged of the coin toss between Milner and Chelsea captain Jorginho, with eagle-eyed fans spotting the Liverpool star’s brilliant reaction.

Following the coin toss from Stuart Attwell, Milner could be seen giving a little first pump before turning to Jorginho and giving him a cheeky smirk.

Milner, 36, stepped up for the first spot-kick and comfortably beat Kepa Arrizabalaga to put his side into the early lead.

He explained: “It's quite a story from when I saw him first time as a boy and the man he is today, he is an incredible talent.

“Kelleher is the best number two in the world. He had an incredible game. The life of a number two is you just have to be ready when you are called and the game he played tonight was absolutely incredible.

“I can remember at least two incredible saves, probably more, so he proves that the decision to line him up was absolutely right, and then in a very spectacular shootout he showed the whole range of his skillset.”
