Folarin Balogun from Arsenal to Fulham: What do we know so far? Is it likely to happen?

Whereas Arsenal’s primary focus in the coming weeks will be to launch a final push for a top-four finish in the Premier League, plans will already be in place at the Emirates Stadium for the upcoming transfer window.

One of the players who has recently been linked with another loan move away from Arsenal is Folarin Balogun.

A report from the Daily Mail Plus has suggested that Fulham are interested in signing the forward on a temporary basis ahead of their return to the top-flight.

What do we know so far?

As per a report from the Daily Mail Plus, Balogun is one of six players who Fulham are looking to sign this summer.

Whereas a permanent deal is not believed to be on the cards, the Cottagers are willing to sign the England Under-21 international on loan.

Balogun would be brought in to offer some added competition to Aleksandar Mitrovic and Rodrigo Muniz.

Mitrovic has scored a remarkable total of 40 goals in the Championship for Fulham this season while Muniz has managed to find the back of the net on five occasions at this level.

Is it likely to happen?

Whereas Arsenal’s decision to loan Balogun out to Middlesbrough in the January transfer window was understandable due to the fact that they are currently able to call upon the services of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, they may find it beneficial to keep the forward at the club next season.
