Arsenal u14s score brilliant ‘Arsenal DNA’ goal - it's gone viral

In the Arsene Wenger years, Arsenal became synonymous with scoring gloriously technical goals as they passed their Premier League opponents into submission.

Their ability to gracefully waltz their way, by one-touch and first-time balls, through the heart of a defensive line was unmatched.

Of course, there were occasions where they tried one pass too many and missed some fantastic opportunities, but they were simply playing the ‘Arsenal way’ and their fans loved it.

Now, after a few trying seasons that saw them venture from that well-trodden path, the Gunners are starting to show signs that, under Mikel Arteta, those heady technical days could be on their way back.

Arteta has them on the cusp of re-entering the Champions League promised land and, with an incredibly exciting, young squad at his disposal, the sky really is the limit.

If you look even deeper at the club though, you’ll find that the bright futures shine beyond just that first team squad.

Footage of the Arsenal under 14s reviving the aforementioned ‘Arsenal way’ went viral on Twitter this weekend and it’s not hard to see why.

In a clip that generated mass comments and retweets, the young Gunners can be seen making a bit of a mockery of their Chelsea opponents with a sequence of passing that would be the envy of any team regardless of their age.

Starting with a throw on the left flank, the Arsenal youngsters patiently worked the ball across the pitch before springing a ruthless attack that ended in a calm finish.

You can see the goal in the clip below:
