Flamingos resume camp today ahead clash with Egypt

Head Coach of the U-17 Girls’ national football team, Bankole Olowookere, has extended invitation to 25 players ahead of this month’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, India 2022, third round fixture against Egypt.

Nigeria is scheduled to host Egypt in the first leg of the fixture at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on April 17, while the return leg will hold in Cairo on April 30.

Flamingos qualified for the third round after defeating Democratic Republic of Congo 8-0 on aggregate (3-0 in Kinshasa and 5-0 in Benin City).

The list of 25 players released by Coach Bankole have been directed to report today at the Serob Legacy Hotel, Abuja, where camping programme will resume.
