Five potential replacements for Hull KR's Matt Parcell including a new Hull FC star

Hull KR are currently on the look out for a new hooker with Matt Parcell set to return to the NRL in 2023. The Australian has been instrumental for the Robins since his surprising switch with Shaun Lunt back in 2019, and has become a key figure for Rovers.

The style of play Tony Smith has implemented at Craven Park suits Parcell down to the ground, as shown by the hooker leading the runs from dummy half in the league by a considerable amount with 61, and with an average gain of 9.28m. The former Leeds man will be a hard man to replace as his Hull KR career looks to becoming to an end.

When looking at a replacement for Parcell, Paul Lakin and the new head coach must look for a like-for-like signing to suit the needs of Hull KR's style of play and to carry on the momentum and partnership he has built with Jez Litten.
