Five Leicester City old boys with sons playing for Premier League clubs

The sons of five former Leicester City players are currently plying their trade in the youth ranks of Premier League clubs.

Savage junior made his debut for United in the Champions League in December 2021 while, in an emotional moment, his father was commentating on the match for BT Sport.

Wellens is out of contract this summer but a decision on his future is yet to be announced. He has already been linked with a move to Roma where he would reunite with former United boss Jose Mourinho.

Former Leicester striker and hometown hero Emile Heskey has not one but two sons playing for Manchester City.

Jaden, 16, is about to start a two-year scholarship at Man City and has already agreed a professional contract which will take effect
