Fikayo Tomori: AC Milan defender’s Italian interview goes viral

Fikayo Tomori, the England international who joined AC Milan from Chelsea in 2021, has gone viral on social media after an impressive video of him speaking Italian in a recent interview emerged.

Tomori, 24, signed for Milan in a deal worth £30 million in June 2021.

The centre-back, who has been capped twice by England, has played 29 games in all competitions for the Serie A leaders so far this season.

Tomori spent six months on loan with the Rossoneri prior to his permanent move to the San Siro, meaning he’s been living in Italy for 13 months so far.

So to hear him speaking Italian in a post-match interview following Milan’s 1-0 win over Napoli on Sunday has impressed many people.

A lot of English players have struggled to learn another language after playing for clubs in various overseas leagues, but Tomori appears to be getting to grips with Italian already.
