FIFA 23: Kai Havertz revealed as the new ambassador

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with a host of latest news sharing information about the upcoming game.

As the hype slowly moves away from Ronaldo and Messi to the younger talents rising through the ranks, EA will be looking to acquire the next generation of football stars.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, and Kylian Mbappe, among others have served as FIFA 22 ambassadors, and this year’s game is likely to include some fresh talent.

We’ve got you prepared for everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 ambassadors thanks to EA Sports’ partnerships with some of the biggest names in the game.

When regional covers with well-known players from respective regions were first released, the idea of FIFA ambassadors was born. Since FIFA 17 was released, Electronic Arts have annually invited a small group of players to help promote their game across the world.

Each FIFA typically has 3 to 12 ambassadors, including females, retired players, and hot prospects. They are arranged hierarchically into three tiers:

Main Ambassador

The cover athlete also appears on key game screens and key FIFA marketing initiatives.

Tier 1 Ambassador

A very well-known footballer that appears in several FIFA marketing campaigns, FUT pack covers, and game mode displays

Tier 2 Ambassador

A well-known player who could appear in a couple of FIFA marketing campaigns and game displays.

Other categories, such as Talents and Influencers, use their fame to advance the sport, although on a smaller scale and without being recognized as FIFA ambassadors.
