Fashion Sakala confirms Rangers transfer exit as he anticipates seeing club 'conquer new heights' in emotional goodbye

Fashion Sakala has sent a lengthy farewell to Rangers as he prepares for a new adventure in Saudi Arabia.

The Zambian forward was left out of Saturday's Premieship defeat to Kilmarnock as he talked over a move away from the club he joined in 2021. He dropped a cryptic social media hint over the weekend over his future with posts to the Ibrox faithful and now he has closed the page on what he calls a great 'privilege' of playing at Rangers.

It is with a heavy heart, yet a spirit of gratitude, that I bid farewell to this esteemed club, the supportive management, and my fellow teammates, but most importantly, to the passionate and loyal Rangers fans. When I first joined Rangers, I could have never imagined the profound impact this club and its community would have on my life. From the very first day, you embraced me as one of your own, making me feel like I belonged here, and that sense of belonging has been the driving force behind my performances on the pitch.
