Fans celebrate Olanrewaju Kayode’s wonder goal against Keclorengucu

Olanrewaju Kayode

Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju Kayode, has won the hearts of many fans with his imperious form for Turkish club, Gençlerbirliği. He spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Umraniyespor, as he searched for form once again and before the start of the campaign, the 30-year-old opted to reignite the spark in his career at Genclerbirligi in the TTF First League.

Kayode found his mojo back and beaming his extraordinary confidence. He struck his fourth goal in nine matches against Keclorengucu, averaging 0.4 goal per game this term; coming on the back of three difficult years.

Kayode has scored absolute scorchers this season, but his goal against Keclorengucu has left fans across the globe confounded, both in the alertness, composure and sheer brilliance in putting the ball away at a seemingly impossible angle.

The attacker posted the video of his four goals so far this campaign on his verified Instagram handle, but the most recent received reactions of bewilderment from his followers.

Kayode’s Eagles teammate, Chigozie Awaziem, was left in awe and wrote: “Omo”, with several emojis of surprise. Another user of the social media platform, Areaboy, wrote: “Kayooooooooode,” an expression of complete unbelievability of the strike. Also, Nifemi 44.4 stated: “Larry to the world. The king .”

Dahsteve, another user, who was astonished by the goal, simply said: “Great movement.” Mikeloye, who also commented on the goal, wrote: “The real goal king.” A user, Fatherikpor, said that the Super Eagles should take note of the form of the player. “@ng_supereagles”, he wrote, leaving an emoji
