Fans ask 'is my girl okay' amid concerns over Strictly's Nancy Xu as viewers spot 'blood on her neck'

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left concerned during tonight’s show after Nancy Xu’s neck appeared to be bleeding. The professional dancer, who is partnered with Les Dennis on this new series, was spotted holding a tissue against her neck as she headed up the stairs following their routine.

She remained professional as she stood next to former Coronation Street star and comedian Les, receiving her feedback as well as chatting to Claudia. Fans were clearly concerned for Nancy and took to Twitter to share their thoughts, the Mirror reports.

One wrote: "Does Nancy have blood on her neck? #Strictly," as another added: "Hope Nancy is ok… that looks like an injury. "A third added: "Nancy is bleeding! Poor Nancy! #strictly," as a fourth wrote: "what was on the side of Nancy's neck?? is my girl okay?? #strictly."

A fifth penned on social media: "Has Nancy cut her neck? #Strictly." Nancy is partnered with Les Dennis for the new series and he admits this was one of the last chances for him to do the show.

The last few years, I’ve had challenges just come out of nowhere, like I did my first opera two years ago at the RSC, with no training.

"This is such a massive opportunity as I approach 70. I thought why not?" he shared. Les thinks the Charleston will be the trickiest dance for him - as he's under strict orders to keep his heart
