Famous adults-only hotel in Blackpool on the market for just over £1m

A famous adults-only hotel in Blackpool has gone on the market for more than £1million.

The Royal Carlton Hotel, a 40-bed property on the popular Blackpool Promenade, has been owned by the same people for more than 40 years, LancsLive reports. But they are now are looking to lessen their personal workload and have put the property up for sale.

The sea-view hotel is well-known by many visitors to the seaside town, with its unmissable blue exterior. Inside the hotel itself is a large lounge, bar and dining space as well as a sizable area to the front.

This is terraced style and is perfect for visitors to enjoy a drink on a hot summers day, sitting 58 covers. The property has two entrances to the front, with the right one leading to the reception and lift and the left entrance leading to the open plan space that is being used as a lounge bar and dining room for up to 74 covers.

Within that area there is a bar and a coffee bar that is currently operating as a Starbucks. The lounge is the main public space within the hotel and has been used to host cabaret shows in the evenings.

Throughout the Royal Carlton it is relatively modern, in good repair and boasts an appealing decorative style. In the opinion of the agent, the hotel does not need major investment above the usual repairs, maintenance and redecoration.
