FAI to honour Ireland's women internationals at Aviva Stadium
Every woman who has represented the Republic of Ireland at senior level has been invited to the Aviva Stadium for the Nations League opener against Northern Ireland on Saturday, 23 September.
As part of the 50-year anniversary celebrations of the women's national team, the Football Association of Ireland will honour every player to have featured for the team since 1973 through to the present day.
It was previously announced that every player who featured for the team in an official game will receive a one-off commemorative cap that will feature a unique 50-year crest.
Players are eligible to receive two tickets to attend the Group B1 clash against Northern Ireland and are required to contact the FAI before the deadline of noon on Monday, 11 September.
The Aviva encounter will be Ireland's first match since their Women's World Cup campaign.
