FAI Cup quarter-final draw set to take place today

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct FAI Cup will take place this afternoon.

Five Premier Division sides will be joined by three First Division clubs for the draw at 12.30pm.

St Patrick's Athletic, Bohemians, Dundalk, Drogheda United and Cork City are the remaining top tier outfits, with Galway United, Wexford and Finn Harps also in the hat.

Cork were 3-0 winners over Waterford in a re-arranged clash last night, while Galway showed their credentials by dispatching higher level opposition UCD 5-1 in Belfield.

The ties will take place on the weekend of 15-17 September.

The draw will be streamed on the FAI YouTube channel.
