Faces of EncroChat gang members responsible for biggest ever gun trafficking conspiracy in UK and colossal drug dealing operation
These are the faces of EncroChat drug gang members said to be among the 'highest firearm traffickers ever encountered by UK law enforcement'. They face hefty prison sentences for their crimes.
The outfit bought and sold huge amounts of drugs and flooded the streets with more than 100 firearms, including terrifying Škorpion machine guns. The criminals also planned to set up an importation route into the UK to 'expand their business'.
Messages recovered from the law enforcement hack into the system, used by 'top tier' criminals, uncovered the wide-ranging extent of their criminality. One member of the gang had two Porsches on his drive when police went to arrest him in Alderley Edge.
Verdicts were returned following a month-long trial at Minshull Street Crown Court.
