FA Cup round-up: Snodland Town upset Margate to reach second qualifying round for the first time, while Chatham Town, Ramsgate and Sheppey United also advance

Snodland Town stunned higher-league Margate to reach the FA Cup second qualifying round and continue their history-making run.

The Southern Counties East Premier Division club, playing in the first qualifying round for the first time, won 3-1 away to Isthmian South East high-fliers Gate.

Nathaniel Olawole gave the visitors a third-minute lead in front of a crowd of 505 at Hartsdown Park, with Ben Fitchett and Kian Scott moving the visitors clear before the half-hour mark.

Javaun Splatt replied in the second half but there was no way back as Town player-manager Connor Dymond enjoyed a winning return to one of his former clubs.
