FA Cup quarter-final draw live as Manchester United and Man City learn opponents

Manchester City and Manchester United will find out who awaits them in the FA Cup quarter-finals when the draw is made on Wednesday at 7pm.

Defending champions City emphatically booked their place with a 6-2 thumping of Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night, with Erling Haaland scoring five and Kevin De Bruyne getting four assists. Coventry, Newcastle United and Leicester City have also secured their right to be one game away from a Wembley semi-final.

United take on Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening after the draw has taken place, and will be hoping for an improvement of their league game there. Marcus Rashford scored a second-half equaliser at the end of December but minutes later Morgan Gibbs-White pinched a winner and the home side will fancy their chances of an upset.

Wolves vs Brighton, Liverpool vs Southampton, and Leeds vs Chelsea are the remaining ties tonight. The quarter finals take place next month.

Here are the all-important ball numbers for the draw. United/Forest will be No.5 while City are No.8. It's getting down to the sharp end of the competition but there are two Championship sides that have already booked their place in the quarters - Leicester beat Premier League side Bournemouth last night while Coventry ended the dreams of Maidstone on Monday night. This is the last round where a club can be drawn at home or away, with the semi-finals and final taking place at Wembley
