FA Cup first round draw LIVE - Start time, ball numbers and TV channel
Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of the FA Cup first round draw.
Manchester United and Manchester City may not enter the competition until the third round after the turn of the year, but plenty of clubs in the North West are set to find out who they'll be facing next month.
Both Ruben Amorim and Pep Guardiola will have half an eye on the early stages of the tournament for any upsets, and will be hoping it's a piece of silverware they'll add to their trophy cabinet come the end of the cabinet.
United last won the competition back in 2024 under Erik ten Hag, even beating their neighbours in the final, while City last got their hands on the trophy the year prior in 2023.
The Manchester Evening News will bring you all the latest news and updates in our live blog below.
At this stage of the competition, all 48 EFL clubs from League One and League Two will enter the draw, joining the 32 non-league sides that have progressed through the qualifying rounds.
Premier League and Championship teams will join the tournament in the third round, which is set to take place in the New Year.
The draw for the first round of the 2025/26 FA Cup will be held this evening, Monday, October 13, at 6:30pm.
Michail Antonio and Joel Ward will join presenter Becky Ives to conduct the draw ahead of the fourth qualifying round tie between Worthing and Forest Green Rovers.
Fans can watch the event live on TNT Sports and Discovery+, while the Manchester Evening News will provide live updates throughout the evening.
