F1 Drivers’ Championship 2022: Latest standings and results ahead of the British Grand Prix
Max Verstappen enjoys a healthy 46-point lead over Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez in the F1 Drivers’ Championship ahead of the British Grand Prix.
The 2022 title race has swung considerably in the favour of the Dutchman after Charles Leclerc’s issues at Ferrari, leaving the Monaco-born driver three points behind Perez as Verstappen’s biggest threat.
George Russell’s long run of top-five finishes has left him fourth ahead of Silverstone, nine clear of Carlos Sainz who has taken pole position for the race.
Lewis Hamilton completes the top six almost 100 points off Verstappen as Mercedes look to make their mark on the Brit’s home race.
