Excitement building for 2024 Beltie Triathlon in Dumfries and Galloway

Excitement is building for this year’s Beltie Triathlon.

The popular event will be taking place at Crossmichael over the weekend of September 7 and 8.

There’s something for everyone, with Saturday’s Very Wee Beltie Triathlon perfect for those who want to dip their toe in the water.

It consists of a 300m swim, a 12km bike ride and a 3km run.

Although it is full, people can add their name to a waiting list.

The main action takes place on the Sunday with the Wee Beltie Triathlon.

It will take place over an Olympic distance and consist of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run.

It can be tackled as an individual or as part of a relay team.
