Ex reveals exciting West Ham kit update for next season

Insider ExWHUemployee has explained what West Ham United’s next home kit should look like in the 2022/23 season. 

With the current campaign steadily heading towards an end, some fans will already been keeping half an eye on the future. While that can often involve paying close attention to transfer rumours, it can also involve new kit releases.

With that in mind, Ex was able to explain his understanding on what West Ham’s home strip will look like next term. Indeed, while speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, he claimed that the club were going for a bit of a retro take on their usual design.

He said (48:55): “So the home kit is like the one in the early 90s that had those sort of thin stripes of claret and blue on the on the sleeves.

“It was the BAC and then it went to Dagenham motors, didn’t it? So that first one, so where we have the away kit with the blue and white stripes, this year it’s the home one with the blue and white stripes on the sleeves – obviously claret body and blue and white sleeves there.

“So it’s a retake on that one, which has become quite popular. The club have started selling a retro version.”

He also went on to say he believes the away kit will be ‘all black’.

TIF thoughts on West Ham..

While plenty of supports may be fascinated as to what their new home kit will look like, and whether the club will embrace the ‘retro’ vibes as Ex suggests, most fans will be more concerned as to what competitions West Ham will be wearing that kit in.

Indeed, as things stand, the Hammers could have a shot at wearing their colours in the Champions League next term. They have a Europa League second leg of their semi final in the Europa League later this week against Eintracht Frankfurt.
