Ex-Manchester United striker makes bold midfield claim as transfer window priorities pinpointed

Louis Saha believes with the addition of Mason Mount Manchester United have one of the best midfields in the Premier League but believes there is still one more body needed in the middle of the park to be added this summer.

United captured Mount from Chelsea as the club's first signing this summer in a £55m deal. The England international moved to Old Trafford as he entered the final year of his deal at Stamford Bridge.

Mount adds strength in depth for Erik ten Hag in the middle of the park. Providing United operate with a central midfield trio, Mount is likely to line up alongside new official club captain Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro more often than not.

United could still be active in the transfer market in terms of incomings, though outgoings are now more likely to dominate movement at Old Trafford before the window closes at the start of September. Rasmus Hojlund is poised to seal a move to United from Atalanta after a fee was agreed which will see the striker move to the Reds.

Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat is also on United's radar and could be an option this summer. Saha is looking forward to seeing United's new-look midfield in action following Mount's arrival and deems it among the best in the Premier League, but he believes another body is still needed in the middle of the park.
