Everyone on 21 DWP benefits to receive £10 Christmas payment - full list
People who claim benefits have started receiving a one-off payment from the Department of Work and Pensions ahead of the festive period. The £10 Christmas payment is paid in the first week of December to help with the extra costs and bills during the festive period.
The tax-free bonus is paid automatically and people do not need to apply to receive it. However in order to be eligible you must claim at least one of 21 benefits.
The payment is made on an individual basis and not by households - meaning if two people living in the same home are separately claiming benefits, they will receive £10 each.
