It was another chastening afternoon for Manchester United as they slumped to defeat in their home clash with Brighton.
The visitors took the lead early on through Yankuba Minteh before Bruno Fernandes levelled the game from the penalty spot. Kaoru Mitoma put the away side back in front in the second half before an Andre Onana howler gifted Georginio Rutter the ball and the Brighton forward made no mistake to secure the three points.
Ruben Amorim spoke to journalists after the game at his post-match press conference and he was clearly unhappy with his team's performance, describing them as "the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United".

You've said that fans and players are going to have to suffer, can you explain what that looks like? Because a lot of people will say those players out there, that cost tens of millions of pounds, are underperforming.
"It’s hard to explain, we have to acknowledge the moment and not going around the problem. Everybody here is underperforming, no matter what the circumstances, we are underperforming and have to accept that. It’s unacceptable to lose so many games. For any Premier League club, imagine Manchester United. So it’s a really hard moment but we have to continue, we have to continue, there is no other way. We need to suffer and continue."
