Every word from Pep Guardiola and Rico Lewis ahead of Man City vs Young Boys in Champions League

Pep Guardiola will speak to the press on Monday afternoon ahead of Manchester City vs Young Boys.

City have a 100 per cent record in Group G so far and a victory over the Swiss side at the Etihad would ensure qualification to the knockout stages with two games to spare. The Blues have won all three of their group games so far by 3-1 scorelines, including the away fixture against Young Boys last time out.

They will come into the match in a highly confident mood, coming off the back of a 6-1 demolition of Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. That didn't come without difficulty though, with Erling Haaland being substituted at half-time amid an injury worry, while Sergio Gomez appears to be facing an extended period out after arriving at the stadium on crutches at the weekend.

The manager will likely be asked questions about the two players as well as any other team news in today's media briefing. He'll also be joined by Rico Lewis who have his say on where City are at the moment.

The media briefing is due to start at 12.30pm and you can follow it LIVE below.

Erling Haaland 'feels better' after his injury at the weekend, and will be assessed ahead of Manchester City's Champions League clash against Young Boys.

City can secure qualification to the knockout stages with two games to spare, but may have to do that without Haaland who was substituted at half time of the weekend's win over Bournemouth after feeling a twist in his ankle.

Guardiola wouldn't give much away in terms of Haaland's fitness, saying he would go off the club doctor's prognosis, but added that Haaland feels well and will be in contention if he is given the green light.
