Every word Erik ten Hag said in Manchester United press conference ahead of Brentford fixture

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will take questions from journalists before facing Brentford this weekend.

United were stunned in the Champions League earlier in the week when Galatasaray won 3-2 at Old Trafford, a result which condemned the club to losing their opening two group games in the competition for the first time.

United have also lost six times in just 10 games this season for the first time since 1986-87 and although Ten Hag's position is not threatened, the manager is not blameless for that disappointing start to the campaign.

Ten Hag will speak at Carrington this afternoon and he'll be quizzed on that poor start and give his thoughts on tomorrow's game.

The Dutchman will also give an update on the team news and give updates on injuries.

Erik ten Hag acknowledges Manchester United's form has drastically dipped since they won the League Cup final on February 26.

United ended a trophy drought that had strayed close to six years with a 2-0 win over Newcastle at Wembley but they have won 16 of their 32 matches since.

After the League Cup final, United had a 69% win ratio under Ten Hag but it has dropped to 50% since their triumph at the national stadium.

Sergio Reguilon is not fit enough to return for United against Brentford at Old Trafford.

Reguilon has missed the last three games with a muscular injury and he is still not fit enough to return to the matchday squad.

United will be without all three left-backs again for the visit of Brentford as Tyrell Malacia has been sidelined since the start of pre-season and Luke Shaw is out injured with a hamstring problem until November.
