Every player to be linked to Blackpool this summer as Manchester City winger progress made

Blackpool have made progress in their pursuit of Manchester City winger Morgan Rogers.

Michael Appleton is yet to make his first signing in charge of the Seasiders but progress is being made with hopes that a couple of new additions will be in the door at Bloomfield Road before long. One of those with progress being made is one of Appleton's former players at Lincoln City, Rogers, with the winger being looked at for a move on loan - something that was in the pipeline in the January transfer window had Josh Bowler departed for Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest.

Rogers has been a target for Blackpool for a number of windows and someone the club have tracked throughout Neil Critchley's final season in charge at Bloomfield Road. It's understood progress has been made and there is confidence that a move can be finalised for Rogers to join the Seasiders ahead of other Championship interest - while no move is completed, Rogers is seen as a priority target.

Alongside interest in Rogers, here is every player to have been linked with a move to Blackpool so far who haven't already moved elsewhere.

Rogers has been someone Blackpool have tracked for a number of windows and someone the club had outlined as a replacement for Josh Bowler in the January transfer window had a transfer been completed for the winger to join Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest. With no move apparent for Bowler, Rogers returned to Bournemouth before seeing out the final weeks of the same back training with his parent club Manchester City.

Now it's understood progress has been made on a move for the Seasiders to bring Rogers in on loan and there is confidence that a deal can be reached for Blackpool to beat other Championship clubs to the signature of the winger.
