Every Manchester United player missing Nottingham Forest clash as Erik ten Hag woes continue

Manchester United have eight players out injured ahead of the FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest this evening.

The domestic cup competition represents the Reds' final chance to gain silverware this season after a poor campaign. MEN Sport understands winning the FA Cup would go a long way to saving Ten Hag's job after Sir Jim Ratcliffe is believed to be not fully convinced by the Dutchman.

However, United have an uphill battle on their hands with numerous players sidelined. Last night, Ten Hag confirmed Harry Maguire was the latest player to be missing tonight's game through injury with Fernandes and Raphael Varane doubts.

Despite these doubts, Fernandes and Varane both start for the Reds. Rasmus Hojlund is absent again after picking up an injury last week before the defeat against Fulham.

There is good news on Casemiro, though. The Brazilian suffered a head injury against the London club but did not suffer a concussion and is fit enough to start.

Antony and Sofyan Amrabat return to the starting XI as Ten Hag looks to fill gaps in his team. There is also a first substitute appearance for Habeeb Ogunneye.

Ogunneye, 18, has never made the United first-team squad before but has been featuring in training sessions ahead of tonight's game at the City Ground. Should United win this evening they will take part in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on the weekend of March 16 and 17.

United's starting XI vs Forest: Onana, Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, Amrabat, Casemiro, McTominay, Fernandes, Garnacho, Rashford, Antony.
