Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite transfer stance after Manchester United interest

Everton boss Sean Dyche has affirmed Jarrad Branthwaite's commitment to his football amid transfer interest.

After being sidelined at the season's start, Branthwaite saw action in Everton's recent victory against Crystal Palace despite recent transfer distractions. Despite drawing eyes from big clubs, notably Manchester United with a substantial but insufficient £50million offer and speculative interest from Liverpool that falls short of Everton's £70m valuation, the youthful defender remains focused as per his manager.

Dyche emphasised Branthwaite's concentration on the pitch stating: "There is a lot going on for him outside of what we do, nothing to do with him [but] there are stories everywhere about him. He seems fine other than being injured, which has been a blow to him."

"It's not a surprise good players are linked with other clubs. I said in the summer he'll be staying here and he is so that's good."

Sean Dyche has spoken out on Everton's financial challenges, acknowledging that they have had to sell prominent players yearly due to profitability and sustainability regulations. The Toffees' manager couldn't assure a stable future even with the potential Friedkin Group takeover.

"The club has a situation which it will still be looking upon," Dyche said. "If new ownership goes through, that might change things financially in terms of the viewpoint of where it is at and where it wants to go but we don't know that yet. We'll just have to wait and see."
