Everton plan protest for Manchester United fixture as Premier League clubs make transfer call

Manchester United are set to be impacted by two Premier League decisions within the next few weeks. The first one arrives very soon.

United travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton, who will be playing for the first time since being handed a 10-point deduction by the Premier League for breaching finance regulations. Toffees fans are planning protests for the game in response ahead of an expected vibrant in-game atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Premier League clubs have voted against the option of temporarily banning loan transfers between clubs who have the same Premier League owner. It means Newcastle are able to sign the heavily-linked Ruben Neves from Saudi club Al-Hilal despite being owned by the same entity. Others clubs could enact the same type of transfer.

An Everton fan group has announced its plans to protest the points deduction their club has suffered during Sunday's match with United.

Everton became just the third team in Premier League history to be docked points last Friday after being found guilty of breaching profitability and sustainability rules. Sean Dyche's side were sitting comfortably in mid-table but the 10-point deduction has seen them slip to 19th place.

Predictably, Toffees fans have voiced their discontent over the verdict on social media since the punishment was brandished and plan to make themselves heard even further when their team are back in action after the international break. Everton take on Manchester United on Sunday.
