Everton: Moshiri to hold Lampard meeting 'in coming days' at Goodison Park

Everton boss Frank Lampard will hold discussions over his Goodison Park future with owner Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright in the coming days, according to journalist Dean Jones.

Lampard was appointed as the Toffees’ manager on deadline day of the January transfer window, but there appears to be question marks over whether he will still be in the hot seat by the time next season gets underway.

Lampard penned a two-and-a-half year contract when he headed to Merseyside, meaning he could remain at the Everton helm until the summer of 2024 thanks to his current agreement.

He succeeded Rafa Benitez, whose turbulent reign came to an end after just six-and-a-half months in the dugout, and was tasked with keeping the Toffees in the Premier League.

Ultimately, Lampard met his key target as he guided Everton to safety and they have maintained their top flight status, staving off relegation to the Championship.

The Merseyside outfit officially ensured they would not head through the Premier League’s trap door by overcoming a two-goal deficit and recording a 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace in midweek.

Lampard reacted to the Goodison Park comeback by admitting it was ‘one of the greatest nights of my footballing life’.

Jones believes Lampard’s Everton future is not necessarily certain despite keeping Everton in the Premier League.

The transfer insider feels the 43-year-old will hold talks with Moshiri and Kenwright in the aftermath of the campaign.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I think there will be a meeting in the coming days to look back on how things have panned out since he came in and what his vision is of turning the situation around.
